(Taiwan Cherry).This is an ornamental cherry tree. The tree is deciduous and produces beautiful cup-shaped pink flowers in late spring before its new leaves appear. This tree has been made into a high standard by grafting the plant onto a clear stem of 180cm. Being grafted means the stem won't get much bigger but the canopy above the graft will continue to grow and mature. These trees like a sunny position and are suitable for gardens with clay soil. Great autumn colour.
